Cattle industry continues to threaten rainforest

Carbon credits...that's fucking brilliant!!
the blame should be placed in the proper place-The elite, who have kept free-energy from the masses for at least 40 years-these are the assholes to hold accountable-for shitty hamburgers, and deforestation...

WWF is a tool of the elite as well....do yer homework, oh ye, who cry for the Truffula....

A Peak Oil Primer from CBC's "The Hour"

choggie says...

Environmental restrictions, by design, have created a situation whereby it will be impossible, because of prohibitive laws and regulations for anyone to get to reserves, in Alaska, for example-The oil in most of Alaska has not even been tapped yet.....Greenpeace is a tool as well, follow the money folks-who do you think gives organizations like them, their $$$?? Not donations from morons, that's a dead certainty...
Julian Huxley, for example....another tool-the WWF??, founding member of the think tank Political and Economic Planning in the 30's in England??UNESCO in the 40's???-this lover of species worked passionately all his life, as a pawn of some of the most influential and powerful people of the 20th century-
Wake the fuck up kids.....

Backflip Takedown Defense

Hmmm Although i don't like the wrestling style, netean is referring to IMO (with the guys dressed like pinadas, WWF etc.), still wrestling as shown in this video IS pretty popular at least in Germany. The big difference is: One is made of 100% show, the other is real competition.

The 500 Pound superplex that destroyed the ring..

T-man says...

Wow. I didn't mean to hijack the thread with a real/fake debate. I thought it was an impressive video (I upvoted it) and these guys are obviously great physical specimens and wonderful entertainers. But it is just entertainment.

Interesting fact, it was the WWF itself that spilled the beans. The taxes on PPV entertainment is lower than PPV sports. Also, the insurance is much lower if it's scripted entertainment. So Vince McMahon called it "sports entertainment."

"Polar bears need ice and snow, but as climate change takes a steady hold, their habitat is being rapidly lost. This year, for the first time, the polar bear has been classed as endangered on the IUCN Red List."

"The Montana park has 26 named glaciers today, down from 150 in 1850. Those that remain are typically mere remnants of their former frozen selves, a new gallery of before and after images reveals."

"Study Previews Ice Sheet Melting, Rapid Climate Change."

When will conservatives stop treating facts as if they were opinions?

[ban]World Build a [ban] Song

choggie says...

heh heh, part of the program for opening your mind and letting your brains spill out on the floor, is defensive posturing and frustrated anger, as well as a bill for the therapist, and membership in organizations like WWF, Greenpeace, and subscription to the Utne Reader....

America's Got Talent: chair jumping gone wrong ( Real-Fake?)

joedirt says...

Also why is this starting behind the curtain? So a stage hand can pull something? WTF is this not all on stage for, and how lame to jump folding chairs? You think it is a coincidence the metal folding chair is the prop of choice for pro wrestlers. How lame we have WWF stunts on "talent" shows.
