I recently visited a slaughterhouse where they are in the beginning of the season. They unalive 3k+ animals daily.

I am not a vegetarian, and I have a deep understanding that we need food to survive, and that meat is important part of our diet.

Nevertheless, this hit me hard in multiple parts.

First, just listening to all the animals outside inside trailers.
Secondly, contemplating their imminent fate.
Third, what does this do to your psyche if you are the one unaliving x amount of animals each day.

Life is precious. I'll be first in line the moment we figure out how to grow proteins and carbs in laboratories.

Scary movies have never affected me. I loved horror flicks as a kid.

So even now as a grown-ass man, horror movie trailers are always just nothing more than meh, whatevs.

This trailer was pretty well done though. I actually felt my skin crawl a little. Maybe it harkens back to the original Hellraiser movies I saw as a lad and the way those creeped me out a little.

It looks like they just took 2 flatbed trailers and chained them together in the middle.

On second look, it also looks like the foundations both collapsed too. One split, one leaned over dangerously.

Better this happened now than in the wet season when it definitely would have failed and dumped people into the river.

They should name it Corsair bridge….unsafe at any speed!

Black dragons have acid breath. As far as I could tell from the trailer, they do seem to be faithful to D&D as a source. Or at least, I couldn't see anything that stood out as incompatible.
