Some estimates are now saying $150 billion + (including lost commerce)….and growing.
(Side note- estimates to “rake the forest clean” as fire deterrent like some have suggested are about $1 Trillion per year in California alone and would require every undocumented immigrant in America and then some to do the job, so no deportations.)

Multiple people have been arrested for starting these and other fires in LA. A man with a propane torch was caught lighting Xmas trees and garbage cans that seem to be the start of the Kenneth fire, a woman was caught starting fires near Palisades on the 8th (her fires were reportedly put out, so maybe not the start of that fire) and there’s footage of what’s claimed to be people starting fires in what looks like down town LA tonight.

The Palisades Fire has exploded to more than 19,000 acres with 6% containment as of early Friday morning. The fast-moving Eaton Fire is at 13,000 acres and 0% contained. The Hurst Fire is at least 771 acres and 37% contained, while the newer Kenneth Fire is at 1,000 acres and is 35% contained.
Estimates are $50-$60 billion in losses with over $10 billion in homes lost so far and rising. Winds are forecast to drop slightly tomorrow but rise again significantly on Sunday.

These were all multi million dollar homes at the least.
Total economic losses are estimated by experts at $60 billion so far, with multiple fires still burning.

I've always wondered... why nobody that got in the pileup honks and create a loud cascading effect to alert the incoming ones and slow down to minimize the carnage?

Is that a thing? Does it help? Is it realistic (understand people are in shock and/or physically hurt, so it's not as easy as what coming out of my mouth)? I'm not sure.

My dad liked to play “kill the kid” where if he caught me walking in the road he would drive at me at 15-20mph, I would jump on the hood, he would hit the breaks so I rolled off, then he would drive off. He said it was to see what the neighbors would do, but he did it at our ranch with no neighbors to see more than once, so…..
Call it a prank, inappropriate joking, fun between a dad and his weird kid, or serious child abuse, it sure beat how my brother treated me…but yes, it left multiple scars I can still see 45 years later…they’re not the only ones. Growing up in Texas in the 70s was dangerous.
Nobody ever said anything. I know some of the neighbors and my mother saw him do it. That’s way scarier and more scaring than the car coming at me.

Pretty hilarious that the released Gaetz report proves he did everything he accused Hunter of doing…like buying guns high on cocaine and not listing his drug use on the form, sex trafficking, constant drug use, statutory rape, and massive obstruction…(the biggest difference being there is a mountain of incontrovertible evidence proving Gaetz’s guilt and only paid criminal Russians lying about Hunter)….and the child drug pusher and child rapist was tapped by the criminal underage drug fueled orgy party for the highest law enforcement position on earth while Hunter is just a citizen with no political aspirations or designs.

Epstein’s partner in crime knew every word of the report when he was nominated to be AG, the felon wanted him BECAUSE he’s a known criminal child rapist….birds of a feather and all.

Kinda funny how they don’t care at all about his much worse proven crimes but were so hyper focused on the much lesser but same unproven accusations against Hunter for 4 full years +….almost like they don’t care about the crime one bit but just need a stick to beat you in the head with.

The report has been released….this candidate for attorney general, the highest law enforcement position in the nation, spent over $90k on sex with children and illicit drugs while in office….so much he had a “secret” (not so secret) phone line specifically for drug deals and to set up drug fueled prostitution sessions with high school juniors….children.
The (Vice) president elect knew all this before nominating him for AG, and had no issues with this mid 40s man having paid drugged sex with trafficked CHILDREN.

Still no answer on why he wasn’t prosecuted, especially seeing as they have evidence proving all of it. Think of what this man would refuse to prosecute were he AG.

Awwwww….all that sound and fury for nothing, just exposing the corrupt right willing to suborn any level of perjury and put up any foreign criminal they could find to attack their political rival’s families.

Another abuse thwarted, Hunter is pardoned….just like the next president plans to do for himself and has already done for his own family members and most of his convicted administration officials, donors (anyone willing to pay >$200k for a pardon), his lawyers, campaign officials, and dozens of drug traffickers, and plans for the treasonous anti American cop killing traitors that tried a violent coup and failed.
