Scout vs. Witch: A Tale of Boy Meets Ghoul

PandaCube's latest demo (from Videosift Member Zonbie)

That flashed me back to '94, watching it with friends in a dark room, just staring. I'd love to see it at original resolution. I've still got the original DOS executables. Wonder if they work under Win7. Check when I get home.>> ^Fletch:

Brings me back to the Future Crew days. Demos still haven't gotten away from scrollers, eh?

OMG! Future Crew! That must have been a trigger word for me, because that just unlocked a shitload of memories from the 90s.

Scrollers are still radical/k-rad, dude!

The underwater scene reminded me of BioShock games.

I'm with Gunrock, but I've never been too into the side scroller games except for old school Sonic. It's just a matter of taste. Having said that, for what this is it looks very well done. The animation is nice, and I'm not sure if they're using cell shading but if they are it doesn't look anything like EVERY OTHER cell shaded game out there.

^WHAT?? (/Lil Jon voice)

You'd have to be a heartless SOB to not appreciate the game's style, scale and the track that was playing as balls-in-a-knot epic and completely effing awesome. Personally, if the in-game soundtrack is anything like this and I get to confirm it beforehand, I'm WAY pre-ordering it (mind you, oftentimes I don't even buy the games I try)

*edit1* Did a little digging - the music is Dimmu Borgir "blood hunger doctrine" and - good news - apparently they're doing the whole soundtrack.

*edit2* Upon several times' repeat viewing I gotta say this is the best trailer for a video game I have ever seen. I can only think of one aspect I could nit pick about, which is the footage near the end. They should have had a single death of the protagonist's ship and that should (and could) have been the more epic than 'death by spikes'. Apart from that, it's shaping up to be the most badass arcade/side-scroller in existence. w00t.

YouTube is slow as shit lately (Wtf Talk Post)

I'm glad I'm not the only one that's been getting this bug.

Also YouTube changed their time scroller from a really bad one, to one that could find exact seconds, which is very handy. However I've noticed that in some videos when I put the slider beyond the buffered space, it resets to zero and had to buffer all over again. Normally is should just buffer from the specified timestamp. Am I the only one suffering from this serious annoyance?
