I've never seen the PC guy, but Rich Hall has had some great moments on QI,
as has Reginald D Hunter

The few times I have seen an American on QI they just sit there and watch, like Rich Hall and that PC guy from the "I'm a Mac" commercials. Makes me wonder why they even invite them, they seem overwhelmed.

We had HBO in 1982 and I saw this dozens of times, we used to hum along mockingly. I used to love "Not Necessarily The News" with Rich Hall and his Sniglets, that was the highlight along with the R-rated movies of course.

Didn't Rich Hall's delivery become stale in the 80's?

Me too, I loved his bits on NNTN and SNL. I was lucky to see him open for Dennis Miller back in 1993, he was hilarious. He made a joke while talking with an audience member that I didn't get until I got home. Rich was talking to the cat lovers in the audience and asked this one guy to describe his cat. The guy said "he's a loner" and Rich said "what, you can't afford one?" Everyone laughed like hell except for me, then 3 hours later I got it (loaner). >> ^lurgee:
