Navy SEAL chases down the guys that killed his dog

ElJardinero says...

>> ^Throbbin:
So....killing a dog is "insanity".
But wanting to murder teenage boys and chasing them at 110 MPH for several counties is heroic?

Yes. Absofuckinglutely.

That dog was a innocent creature, they are murdering cunts.

Maybe they were smokin up a joint that his ex-navy seal dad had made for a mission that actually had in it Marijuana Flavor Crystals™, plastic explosive, and the wrap was made out of plastic sheeting. He probably passed out right before they hit, due to toxic fumes, and turned into the hidden ramp setup for a motorcycle daredevil show that was going to be there later in the day; and the cars were full of gaseous propane.

John Perkins - America's Secret Empire

quantumushroom says...

This guy sounds like another Bill Shields, the "NAVY SEAL" in Vietnam who turned out to be a total fraud. Complaints about Perkins and his work--by people who want to believe him--include a gross lack of verifiability and facts and narcissism blending fact and fiction.

It's ludicrous to believe that other countries are filled only with do-gooder innocents, free of corruption were it not for the evil USA. Yet here's Perkins, rehashing the same drivel heard on any modern kollij kampus by 1960s radical dinosaurs. Noam Chomsky is another fraud but at least Chomps doesn't pretend he was Indiana Jones.

Lara Logan: Daily Show interview - TYT

NordlichReiter says...

OK guys, shes been embedded with the Navy Seals, this is a no joke, no asking questions no shit taking organization (Although slacking in their requirements).

I can guarantee what she saw out there in that hell hole with those boys was not fake nor was it the bullshit that the every day joe sees around the house, only a select few have the privilege of witnessing a violent crime. But then again some of us are unluck. I hope she knew what she was getting into.

Check out the book called "Generation Kill" in that book, the reporter was embedded with marine force recon spearheading the marine expeditionary force during the invasion. On one occasion he had hide below the gunner of an M249 saw because they were taking so much fire. He had to wear the same biowarfare gear they did, and go through the same drills they did.

Whether the lady above saw combat or not does not matter I can bet she saw some things that weren't nice things that would make the average righteous pro war wanker think twice about sending, "our boys" - Teddy Roosevelt, to war.

Whats it going to take to get people to wake the hell up around here, the draft?

I have a feeling that some of this was not really delved too deeply into, just latching on to any old myth about him. I note that they start with his more plausible inventions and then get progressively more zany... I mean c'mon, some mysterious Navy SEAL ranting on about "oh yeah, we have awesome particle weapons nowadays", and some reverberating device that nearly brings down a building? We all know what became of the Star Wars program.

Still, he was obviously a remarkable person and humanitarian. I'd heard about AC current being attributed to him before, so I would like to think that much of this is factual.

I thought you would appreciate this:

Reaction to Snakes
• Civilian: Runs away from the snake screaming.
• Paratrooper: Lands on and kills the snake.
• Armor: runs over snake, giggles, and looks for more snakes.
• Infantry: "Look, a pussy cat. Come 'ere kitty....Ouch! Hey, that's not a pussy cat."
• Army Aviation: Has GPS grid to snake. Can't find snake. Back to base for crew rest and the club and some sort of drink called "The Snake."
• Ranger: Plays with the snake, then eats it.
• 2nd Ranger: Assaults the snake's home and secures it for use by friendly snakes.
• MI: analyzes all available intelligence and national asset input on the reptilian situation; reports sighting of Godzilla to National Command Authority.
• JAG: Advises the snake on the rules of engagement and the law of war as it pertains to the snake and its defensive posture.
• Quartermaster: Captures snake and applies a NSN to it. Implements a FOI procedure and picks up snake on property book. Has company commander sign hand receipt for "Snake, Green, One Each," as non-expendable unit property.
• Chemical Corps: Starts to gas the little booger, but then realizes that there is an M-18, A-2 Respirator especially made for snakes, remembers the Chemical Corps Motto, "UTRWBAG" (Up Their Rear With Bugs and Gas), and conducts three experiments on it that have been strictly prohibited by the Clinton Treaty of 1999.
• Navy SEAL: Expends all ammunition, several grenades and calls for naval gunfire in a failed attempt to kill the snake. The snake bites the SEAL then retreats to safety.
• Artillery: Kills snake, but in the process kills several hundred civilians with a massive TOT with three FA BDEs in support. Mission is considered a success and all participants (cooks, mechanics, clerks) are awarded Silver Stars.
• Marine Recon: Follows the snake and gets lost.
• Pathfinder: Guides the snake elsewhere.
• AF Fighter Pilot: Mis-identifies the snake as a Russian HIND helicopter and engages it with missiles. Crew chief paints a snake on airplane.
• AF Pararescue: Wounds the snake in first encounter, then feverishly works to save the snake's life.
• Green Beret: Makes contact with the snake, builds rapport, wins its heart and mind, then trains it to kill other snakes.

"He can't help but be extreme. He was a Navy SEAL for 10 years and has 25+ years of training in several of the more brutal martial arts (muay thai, Jeet Kune Do, aikido, jujitsu, savate, arnis).

That's over 35 years of programming/brainwashing. You'd be pretty extreme too."

That's not an excuse, if anything most people with that kind of experience have the opposite kind of mentality. Actually, I didn't think the host was that bad compared to others, but he's playing up a bit of the "XTREME KOMBAT" angle up because the Discovery Channel producers think their military shows will be more successful if they go over the top and pander to the lowest common denominator, and damn them, they're right. Oh, and aikido is not a brutal martial art in any sense of the phrase.

Makes me wonder if he can still enjoy everyday life or if everything is a combat situation in his mind.

WTF!! Do any of these Republicans realize how insane they have become?? THe top candidate for the Presidential Primary (yet-to-announce) is saying Cuba is bad because mental institution used shock therapy??

Can anyone explain to him that Gitmo is IN CUBA?! He is implying Castro is a bad guy for wrongful imprisonment and torture? What the hell does that make Bush?

At least the Cuban film maker LIVED and was released after a few years. Sadly, as horrific a concept as this is.. I'd welcome shock therapy over what is done to US-held detainees. We are going from one dry-drunk, ex-coke addict.. to another.

“a 27-year-old Iraqi male died while being interrogated by Navy Seals on April 5, 2004, in Mosul, Iraq. During his confinement he was hooded, flex-cuffed, sleep deprived and subjected to hot and cold environmental conditions, including the use of cold water on his body and head. The exact cause of death was ‘undetermined’ although the autopsy stated that hypothermia may have contributed to his death.”
An overwhelming majority of the so-called “natural deaths” covered in the autopsies were attributed to “arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease” (heart attack). Persons under extreme stress and pain may have heart attacks as a result of the circumstances of their detainments.

The Department of Defense released the autopsy reports in response to a Freedom of Information Act request filed by the ACLU, the Center for Constitutional Rights, Physicians for Human Rights, Veterans for Common Sense, and Veterans for Peace.

One of forty-four U.S. military autopsy reports reads as follows: “Final Autopsy Report: DOD 003164, (Detainee) Died as a result of asphyxia (lack of oxygen to the brain) due to strangulation as evidenced by the recently fractured hyoid bone in the neck and soft tissue hemorrhage extending downward to the level of the right thyroid cartilage. Autopsy revealed bone fracture, rib fractures, contusions in mid abdomen, back and buttocks extending to the left flank, abrasions, lateral buttocks. Contusions, back of legs and knees; abrasions on knees, left fingers and encircling to left wrist. Lacerations and superficial cuts, right 4th and 5th fingers. Also, blunt force injuries, predominately recent contusions (bruises) on the torso and lower extremities. Abrasions on left wrist are consistent with use of restraints. No evidence of defense injuries or natural disease. Manner of death is homicide. Whitehorse Detainment Facility, Nasiriyah, Iraq.”
