Canada and Mexico should not pause their tariffs, and should add 100% export taxes to Canadian energy (so America pays and Canada keeps the money). America cannot keep the lights on without it, we will pay anything to keep it coming, and the Canadians know it, just like Mexico knows we can’t keep food on the shelves without Mexican produce (soon exclusively since American farms can’t find workers to be able to produce produce).

The stupidest trade war in history is an apt name for this fiasco. Every penny doge could ever save has been squandered already with the losses this intentional commercial uncertainty has caused, and the negative effects are just beginning.

This is why we need a functioning immigration system, like we had before the felon’s first term, not why we need to defund immigration courts, not why we should halt asylum and refugee programs, not why we need to defund the border patrol like Republicans voted for.

The $20 million of taxpayer money used to go to the Super Bowl could have been spent hiring 400 border agents for an entire year! Or 100 immigration judges, either of which could make a noticeable positive difference. The $10 million spent on golf so far, another 200/50. The $1 million per military flight (instead of $8k per immigration flight) could have funded a thousand more border agents or 250 judges. That’s 1600 border agents or 400 judges not hired, not protecting the border, and every penny spent to pay for one man’s entertainment for 3 weeks. So much for eliminating waste or trying to fix the problem.
If doge was looking for waste or fraud, they would have hit the office of the president first, that is where the biggest wastes and frauds are.

Everything he complained about is a direct result of Republicans policy, not one bit from what Democrats voted for or implemented. Nothing the Republicans have done has helped stem the tide at all, except for destroying the economy which had many return home in 2020 for work. They voted against more border control, against better immigration courts, and against working with our neighbors instead of against them.
What keeps enticing immigrants from South America, and they’ve been 100% clear, open, and honest about it whenever they are asked, is Republicans politicians on TV every single day saying the US border is wide open, and that gets shown in their countries. Every time they say “open borders” 1000 immigrants say “woo hoo, let’s go!”.

….And the Trump shit coin has dropped another 35% in one day, taking tens of billions more out of his supporters pockets and transferring it to himself (he owns 90% with no cash investment, and is the only winner).
$melania (yes, her shit coin is Smelania) also dropped over 60% since it’s inception days ago.

The crypto market as a whole is tanking largely because of this. The idiots believed Trump planned to regulate and solidify the cryptocurrency market but now see it was another grift only meant to trick them into investing in his garbage, and are suddenly realizing it’s all a huge scam controlled by billionaires to make themselves more money. Thousands of Trumptards have lost everything already just days in, right after voting to get rid of social safety nets and medical cost savings. Whodathunkit?!

Shocker….in under 30 minutes the felon lost his investors tens of billions in his cryptocurrency pump and dump scheme. (And he suggested investing a large portion of the treasury into cryptocurrency because it would be great if American just lost half its monetary value in a single day in an unregulated market…as long as the felon makes money).

At the same time, republicans are holding California disaster aid hostage until they get a $4 TRILLION raise in the debt ceiling for this year, which they will need to do again by summer because we all know the debt is about to skyrocket by >30% a year….because fiscal conservancy means spend as much as humanly possible all on credit.

The Trump depression begins. Maybe red-book isn’t a bad idea, Americans need to learn Mandarin so they can communicate with their new bosses and landlords (unless they’re Alaskan, they need to learn Russian).

I haven’t enjoyed a turn based game since Herzog Zwei on Sega Genesis (and I’m not even certain it was one, it’s been so long).
I did the gaming pc thing for a decade, but realized that it will ALWAYS need an upgrade to play the newest games well, and I don’t have infinite money to keep up. Consoles last years to a decade with no upgrades needed or possible, so it always plays the new games just fine…and there’s GameFly so I can play through every game I want to for cheaper than buying 5 games a year.

I still have no cell phone…it’s a badge of honor that I never have.

Bwaaaahahahaha! Maga Mike said he won’t call congress back for emergency FEMA funding, that there’s no rush getting aid, FEMA has plenty of funds…and the states don’t know the full extent of the damages yet, they couldn’t possibly need money now!
Yep, your party is blocking more emergency funding, blocking even returning from vacation to discuss it….this after Republicans voted against giving FEMA more funding just weeks ago before either storm.
