Jason Bourne's kid sister?

Couldn't agree more! The writer is pretty fresh and the director(s) are stunt guys. Beyond that, I don't know much about the production, but both John Wick and John Wick 2 are precise and well choreographed gunfu with elements of the Matrix/Indigo Prophecy, Hitman, Assassin's Creed, Bruce Lee movies, and on and on. Star power, as well.

I have Jack Reacher (same writer as Usual Suspects), John Wick, Collateral (Michael Mann), and Jason Bourne in the same stack.

In 2002, when I was studying film I had a chance to listen to Doug Liman, the director of The Bourne Identity talk about the making of the film. He hadn't really done much at the time, but now he's in the thick of these highly stylized, star powered, accurate (bullet count, stunts, etc.) Action flicks.

Okay, this is weird. I thought Jeremy Renner was being pitched as the successor to Ethan Hunt's character in the last Mission Impossible. And now he is also the new Jason Bourne?
Will he also become the next James Bond?

Woah, this is sick! It's like it takes from everything i think's cool. Bit of matrix, bit of mirror's edge/parkour, bit of jumper (the film), bit of that weird box video, made me think a little bit of jason bourne, oh and bewbs.

I think this is an interesting test. I wonder how often movies fail the inverse test -- two named male characters who talk to each other about something other than a female.

A great deal of the movies failing the Bechdel test are action movies which are legitimately male dominated, such as the Bourne Supremecy. Also, it's questionable whether that movie actually fails the test. Two significant female characters, Pamela Landy and Nicky Parsons, have a scene together and exchange dialogue. The dialogue pertains to a mission related to Jason Bourne, though, so maybe it could be considered "about a man" but that's a bit of a reach.

He's like Jason Bourne with a sign. He can take on three bums at once all while advertising metro's free one month off offer.
