It's hard for me to imagine these kids are actors which begs the question what made them cry

I can't believe how long the kids melting down went on for! It was great as a quick joke, but as someone who has had young children and is fucking *thrilled* they no longer do this shit, that scene was painful.

Kid Gets Custom Trump Shirt Made Gets Special Message

shagen454 says...

I'd imagine this kid was looking for this type of reaction from the shop considering he probably knew the store would find it offensive. I mean he really went to a shop on Haight street which is probably across the street from some random anarchist book shop for this? Come on.

I like the concept, but I'd rather see a girl do that, or a kid. Imagine some kid walking by you and holding your hand?

If it was a kid I'd just have to fuck his mouth. Because I'm gonna get accused of it anyways, I would hate to be accused of something I didn't do.

You must be Chip.

A human sized object, in the shadow of the bus, shadowed because of the broad daylight. There is some missing content in the video just before the biker was hit. I really cant tell how the driver didn't see the rider nor how he would have been able to see him either. This is uploaded by the police department and I'm thinking they want to get a message across with no ambiguity rather than have the view question whether or not they would have been able to avoid the rider themselves.

Really? I think you should not drive if you can't see a human-sized object in broad daylight.

In reply to this comment by aimpoint:
All those cars in the beginning overpassed the biker.

One second the bus is in the right lane, the next its on the left. How quickly did that bus change lanes?

I would imagine the kid tried to pass the bus as he passed the car but didn't see the biker compared to the much larger profile (and shadow) of the bus.

I don't think he should have ran, but at the same time I don't think he even saw him.

Teen Shot Dead for Being Black -- White Shooter Not Arrested

Personally, this makes me hate gated communities more than anything. Forget racism. Gated communities are just breeding grounds for that type of mentality that says anyone who doesn't look or act or makes as much money as us is suspicious or bad.
When you live in a community like that...you ARE in the bubble, you're out of touch, you're not a participant in the daily trials and struggles of the rest of the world.
To me this really isn't about racism, sure there is an undercurrent of racism, but IMO it's mostly about the evils that happen when someone is given power without the maturity to use it wisely.
I googled the incident and one thing TYT appears to have left out is that reports do seem to indicate that the two guys had a fight before the shooting so it wasn't like the neighborhood watch guy just casually strolled up and shot him for no reason.
Still though. Neighborhood watch guy was armed, kid wasn't and I highly doubt there was any threat serious enough to warrant self defense with fatal results.
One thing I was surprised to learn from the other article was that the neighborhood watch guy was only 28. I have to admit, I assumed it was some crusty, bitter old man.

My parents live in a gated community. They don't understand why I find the whole concept repulsive. It's all about fear of the "other", race, class, age, religion or whatever. We do live in Canada so one can be reasonably sure of not being shot by the neighbours, even if the mentality is the same.

This incident still fits the definition of classic racism- it's hard to imagine the kid being dead if he were white.

It's The Bees' House Now, Let Them Have It

Can you imagine the kid jumping on the bed and punching a hole in the ceiling. Dead kid.

Weren't they afraid that the bees were disappearing a few years back? We found where they were hiding.

Hmmm I downvoted... kids see this & kids are dumb = Dead kids
The glorification of violence by smiling kids 'killing' each other... There are kids right now in armies, killing each other. And they are not happily smiling, unless they're drugged out of their mind to keep theam attached to their army by addiction.
Edit: The kids smile, there are no consequences seen for their actions, to me, this is glorification. And yes, it's not aimed at children, but they'll see it. And they know where their dad has his hunting rifle.

Oh for fuck sake, get off the insane, constructed PC horse. Who didnt play Cowboy and indians as kids (ooohh racist-alarm!!!) This is all such bogus nonsense. Kids play with guns, in video games or in the backyard. If you dont buy them plastic shit, theyll use a fucking stick, like I did when I was a kid. This video is a wonderful tribute to the imagination of kids. Get over it. If one of these kids grow up to be some sort of serial killer, its not going to be because someone made this video, same goes for any kid watching it. Get real.

Nothing bad can come from a widespread disregard for human life and the fragility thereof

It was probably fairly easy to keep quiet. The rest of the grad class is related to each other.

I would just like to say I have renewed faith in the average Sifter's intelligence that you guys caught the inbreeding reference and didn't take my comment literally. I can only imagine the kids at that school and their parents replying "But, we're not related!".

How Lego is made. inside factory tour

RadHazG says...

Except that generally speaking, Legos aren't something that gets thrown out. Most get passed on to kids or grandkids, a Lego is a Lego, its never going to get obsolete.
Not only that, but Lego is great for building imagination in kids, or even adults. There are many things that are plastic or some other "harmful" substance that are actually useful and put to fair use in their considerable lifetime. If there were tons of Lego filling the bulk of our landfills it might be an issue, but I seriously doubt that. Some of them do get tossed undoubtedly but not nearly enough to be concerned with. Bark at milk jugs if you want something a little more concerning.
