Hahaha no he just told me he was going and I saw your avatar. He's no rookie. His fam's been doing it for years evidently.

For someone with as much apparent wisdom as you have, you sure let choggie get to you, huh? Perhaps your avatar is a joke - some sort of inside humor on the failing of modern philosophy that I can't comprehend. I am dumbfounded. I am enfeebled. I suppose that's why I like the Grateful Dead so much. On the other hand, maybe you just ingested too many mushrooms and stuck your hand in the fan. The consolation is that your hand is not yours. Nothing to worry about bro.

Hi moodonia, hmmm if I could only take two albums. It would be a tough choice but I would randomly pick 2 of the Dick's Picks collection. http://www.deaddisc.com/GDFD_Dicks_Picks.htm Everything from this collection is from live shows. Also a great place to start if your looking some really great shows.

Great Great Song!
Gratefulmom, if you could only take two Grateful dead albums with you on a trip to a desert island, what two would you pick?
I ask because I've only picked up a couple of live Albums which I love but theres so many to pick from. Can you suggest any I should look out for?

jonny, Your right of couse, I posted this in a hurry, couldn't believe I actually found Terrapin Station live. I believe that this is closing at Winterland. 3-18-1977 Winterland Arena S.F
In reply to this comment by jonny:
Given the lack of grey hair on Jerry and the presence of Donna, I'm gonna guess this is probably not from 1993. Terrapin was written in 77, and Donna left in 79, so it's a pretty small window. Any idea where this was recorded? Cross-reference that with set lists from the time, and you can probably figure out the exact date.

Dear Clumsy
You are wrong about my joke! I have tested it empirically with great success against all demographics that I encounter. It's a real winner. Even the Hutterites, Sir! Even the Hutterites.
No, I did not return one more time to your limp over-boiled mush to hear the Beatles, when I knew perfectly well that the Grateful Dead were still loitering there, panhandling for a vote in that tang of unwashed arrogance, and those "notes" that dribble on and on without ever a hope for clarity, or the slightest spark of anything that isn't wormlike and low. A sense of honour and the Terms of Service, my good boy. There's your explanation.
Leaving well enough alone is what that steaming lot of degenerates should have done back in the mid sixties, after their second try at their instruments.
As far as the single vote goes that belongs to me; an oversight, I ahshooooor you!

Hey, Clumsy, don't be paranoid. You're not important.
FYI, I even gave the Grateful Dead another listen when I saw your vid. It made me feel all sweaty, and yes, I still wanted to stab out my ears, just like the last time I heard that hirsute gang of noodling perverts. And when I noticed your downvote of my funny joke I realized I had forgotten to downvote your apalling music video.

I downvote your comment, so you downvote the vid? If you thought it was downvote-worthy, why didn't you do that originally? Fucking weak, dude. Weak.

Q: What does a Grateful Dead fan say when the acid finally wears off?
A: This band sucks!

Gratefulmom Hits GOLD! (Sift Talk Post)
Anyone that can get that many Grateful Dead videos sifted is alright in my book. I dedicate this one to you:

It's great to meet another Dead fan. I'm glad you enjoy them, I never get tired of listening to them. As for what gets sifted, I think it's a matter of luck most of the time, like who's on and what they are in the mood for at that moment.

Hey there!
Just wanted to say I have been checking out your queue and you have a ton of great music in there that I'm slowly enjoying my way through. Thanks for helping me get a few vids sifted too. I still havent figured out what will get sifted, apart from fluffy kitties. They seem guaranteed to make it.
Thanks for all the Grateful Dead tunes too!
