"I've got a shotgun. Do you want me to stop 'em?"
"tbh the arguments in favour of a gun is a bit thin. their job is to kill people. end of."
"Yeah, cause guns are never used for hunting or target practice by millions of responsible citizens. Good call."
hunting and target practice isnt worth the utter sh*t attitudes and society that guns bring with them. If somehow you cant find a problem with american society, prehaps people feeling the need to have a gun is one ?
come on, its 2007, not 1791.

Elliott Smith - Son of Sam
mjasonprickett
I suggest checking out "Good Will Hunting." Smith's music is used in that movie too (and was nominated for a Grammy for it).
Elliott Smith: Lucky 3 (super 8, sad beautiful Portland)
Inspired to re-post by farhad's wonderful Son of Sam posting.
Elliott in 1996, just before he became famous as a result of Good Will Hunting, before the long alcohol and heroin decline, before he killed himself or was stabbed in the heart by someone else.
Russians got pwned and they're covering it up.
As a general rule I try not to encourage people to listen to crackpots, but I'm not especially worried about people taking this too seriously. Heck, it works as a good IQ test I suppose.
Then again, I usually don't crib titles out of the comments left on the youtube page, but the quote I used for the title was too priceless to pass up - I just cleaned up the grammar slightly.
A Russian mathematician named Fomenko (per video "leading mathematician of our time", okay Good Will Hunting...) wrote the book this video advertises - his thesis per Amazon is "that all of ancient history was either invented during the Renaissance or at least only based on recent medieval events".
Enjoy for the LOL value.
PlastiqueMonkey for the Win (Sift Talk Post)
Yes, congrats.
In other news, I'm finally watching Good Will Hunting and I finally got to see the original "how do you like them apples" scene which I originally saw on Futurama. Wicked awesome.
