MSNBC Caught Doctoring Clip From Romney/Ryan Rally
Here's an unedited clip from the Vandalia, OH campaign stop by Romney and Ryan.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkWv2HZi8pk
You can clearly make out that MSNBC clipped an excerpt at the end of Ryan's speech, and can make out the chant for Ryan at that point. Note that at other points in the entire piece, there are louder chants for Romney, which I'm certain is what the lady on the radio was referring to. In this case, both sides are being their typical partisan selves and taking stuff out of context to appease their bases.
There's nothing new here. So go ahead and keep your respective rose-colored glasses on.

I am pretty sure this is a dupe, but I couldn't find it.
This is probably an excerpt of the videos we had from this special, because I know they were on the sift before.
Dick will make you slap somebody!
And the other one is a dupe of this even older video.
Technically, none of them are dupes, but I doubt we really need three different copies of this floating around (as much as I love Ms. Tylor). We used to make exceptions for very short excerpts from longer videos (like the 47 second excerpt of arvana's 7:29 one). If anything, this should probably be marked a dupe of the oldest one, but I'll leave this up to others to decide. Any opinion on this, @dag?

THIRTEENTH CENTURY, guys. Good lord. Trumpet this fact one end of this country to the next!
Didn't start in the 1970s.

Did not want to confuse the title with " part 1 excerpt" would not have fitted and less of these monkeys would of even looked at it if they had to read more than a couple words in the title.
All in all I wanted to post it for the light show and sounds.

Weird, I didn't hear any chord progressions that resembled "Love Like a Sunset". I could be wrong, of course.

Arguing about religion? That's my cue!
Seriously, both sides make valid points here; that someone who has been raised in a family/societal environment that automatically gives "God" credit for anything good and labels low-chance positive outcomes as "miracles" should say "thank God" (a common expression) and "It's a miracle" in an overwhelming emotional state is unsurprising and perfectly understandable.
On the other hand, there is a big problem with the bolded part above, and religious people using the good works of humankind (e.g. science, bravery, compassion, etc.) to support and propagate supernatural beliefs which on the whole do more harm than good.
Having been raised in an extremely religious environment, I clearly remember the excerpts of Reader's Digest and other magazines/newspapers we were read, pointing to these kinds of exclamations as just more proof for our ridiculous beliefs ("see? even the worldly papers cannot help but acknowledge God's power!"), and you can bet your bottom dollar this story has joined the billion others on Christian sites all over.
Holy crap! Talk about attack ad!!!!
Here's an interesting editorial from a moderate conservative:

The accuracy of the ad has been questioned by the various fact-checking outfits. That need not detain us. It’s safest to assume that all the ads you see this year will be at least somewhat inaccurate because the ad-makers now take dishonesty as a mark of their professional toughness.

I always felt like "what's Ricky Gervais doing in this group?" Not that Gervais isn't funny but he hasn't exactly accrued the same stand-up gravitas as a Seinfeld or a Rock or a C.K.
I agree but he addresses that at one point and that's a great thing. Also I think it was his idea, his show.
Yeah I looked it up, Gervais Ink. his production company produced this special. I think they need like 40 more, even if it was just rehashing constantly I would watch all of them over and over.
I didn't realize that Gervais produced this show (which I have seen) but now that I do, I think he has an inferiority complex much like his David Brent character. Instead of injecting himself into the discussion and making it weird by over-reacting to everything (the above clip is a terrific example) he should have excused himself and inserted, I dunno, Louis Black. I think Black would have had a solid point of view on the topic. Or how about a woman?
Jeez did you not like Ricky Gervais that much? He was fine, I love this special, Ricky did nothing to make it bad. Also I know it sounds bad but I can't think of a woman comic that can keep up with these guys. That's probably due to my ignorance though.
