I'm Pooping So Bad
I think this is ok. Parent was pretty chill. Psychologically it must be a bit nuts to have parents freak the fuck out and rush you to the toilet for emergency poops. I mean, is it any wonder we have an anally retentive culture. Chill out parents, treat your kids with calm and if you can't make it to the bathroom for instructional defecation, its not the end of the world.

Help Rid the World of Vertical Videos
I wonder if it's just a sliver from the original vertical image, ie if it's just cropped.. If so, you can do that afterwards.
It does, in the sense that when you see someone reversing the whole way to the store or driving the car likes it's suppose to be driven.. It's facepalm worth, not the end of the world zombie apocalypse. The reason we still try to educate is that almost all actions that humans do, involve horizontal movement across the screen, things move sideways, not up and down. It's a pain to watch, effing hard to follow and there's no safety margins in the most important direction that would allow movement to happen on screen.. So the end result is trying to watch thru a keyhole and someone else is holding you head. If the target is stationary, you don't see vertical video syndrome compulsory complaints.
No, I don't hate vertical videos. I do hate people who constantly complain about them as if it mattered.
World War Two Movie Making Gone Wrong
Actually, to practice road ride, you MUST ride in a group. There is a huge group etiquette and not to mention learning to pass, take over, draft, follow etc can only be learned by actually doing it.
Most road groups like that ride on long stretches away from town. It's not like it's the end of the world to pass them, safely mind you, by waiting a good 30 seconds.
But you're right, roadies are lame. Fat Tire for life!
BTW, should be noted that most cycling experts will attest that most cycle lanes are more dangerous than not having them. Between all the road debris and poor maintenance, it's sometimes the worst place for us to be.
Which means I should also point out, that cycle lanes does not mean we're required by ANY law to use them. They are basically a courtesy for slower solo riders. In Florida they tried passing a requirement law, and it hit a lot of walls due to liability issues. If a cyclist is in the bike lane and there's an obstacle, and they hit it and get hurt, the city/state is completely 100% liable for any injuries or deaths.
You mean typical ROAD biker.
My experience has been that mountain bikers (who generally view being on the road as a necessary evil to get to a trail) are careful and courteous.
The lycra brigade, OTOH, all think they're in the fucking tour de france and feel the need to practice riding in a peloton. What especially annoys me is when there is a cycle lane and these idiots ride on the outside marker so that half their body is in traffic.

(Mis/Ab)use of *related invoke (Sift Talk Post)
It's not the end of the world. But what's the point of having those features if they are not going to be used properly and become useless?
I just understood it to be a manual way to tell siftbot to put a video in the "related" vids box at the bottom... and since the toaster already puts in some quite unrelated vids at times, a few strays probably don't matter much.
So based on that, I have no problem at all with part two of something being listed as related to part 1, and two vids that had nothing in common except both featuring a bridge could already have been considered related by the toaster, so although I would never put in that link myself it's probably not the end of the world.

I personally think the true facts related videos is exactly what related was created for. I do however see that the related video is sometimes abused. Maybe @lucky760 or @dag could provide some clarity on how related should be used.
Oh and dont get me started on the crazy abuse of the channel invocations. It's an absolute clusterfuck.
-edit-
from the 5.0 release siftalk - "We've added a new invocation called *related. It's very simple to use. If you find a VideoSift post (and by post I mean video, Sift Talk, or blog post) with content that is related to another post, just invoke related like this: *related=http://videosift.com/video/Crystal-Blue-Persuasion"
So its pretty wide open on what can be considered related. Maybe we could come up with a more defined definition.
Cop Rear-Ends Motorcycle, Blames Rider
You seem to be hung up on this like it's the main thing. I'm sorry but although there is a better side of the lane for a motorcyclist there isn't a wrong one. It is not illegal for him to be there, the entire lane is his and he can clearly be seen by a car right behind him.
You obviously have some sort of anger issue, since you seem to want to scream at everyone for this. Take a breath, it's not the end of the world.
