the painting Banksy did on Robbo's grafitti under the bridge or whatever, was a major improvement. His art is so damn grafitti-generic. No wonder he slapped Banksy, he must feel jealous of his fame.
edit: that and robbo's grafitti was in a really bad state.

That was a bit incoherent. All the "research" about the photo and then doesn't tell the story behind it (young woman was injured, and her boyfriend was comforting her.)

I did like his point that about racial stereotypes, but that is about it
.

I agree, and the city of Vancouver has a big bill on it's hands [that's true]

What I found compelling was the photo, it's like a Banksy mural.
A statement in it's time.

I'd heard the male is an Aussie and that his parents saw the photo and called CBC.

I watched it and I can see why people think it's a hoax...an elaborate prank played by Banksy himself. I prefer to believe it's a prank because it's really creative and in the vein of Banksys work.

MrFisk certainly has put an indelible mark on VideoSift. Fortunately he did not use urine.

He’s never shy about patting himself on the back. At the rate he’s going he’ll break something besides his spine.

Did that two-week boner cause some brain damage? There’s some money riding on MrFisk’s answer.

Developing a Tolerance for Porn . . . Now, there’s a book title!

Nebraska is easy, cheap, obese and family friendly. Um, public relations might not be for MrFisk. Or did he mispell “pubic”?

I’m not quite sure where “write what you know” would get him.

Not one of MrFisk’s addictions has killed him, maimed him, incarcerated him or tied him down. He’s free to be free. He’s a survivor.

Some of MrFisk’s detractors would gladly BANksy him again or ask him to exit through the (VideoSift) gift shop.

Twin Shadow - For Now

The ten best and worst films of 2010 (Cinema Talk Post)

I have a lifetime pass to the local arthouse movie theater that I paid $1500 for twelve years ago. They just offered the deal again, sweetened with popcorn for life -- for a mere $5,000.

Best return on an investment EVER. Beats my IRA all to heck.

My faves:

1 - The Fighter
2 - Tangled (a lyric that rhymed boozes with a sore that oozes... gotta love it!)
3 - Social Network
4 - Can't wait to see The King's Speech. Great trailer, hopefully the movie will measure up
5 - Exit Through the Gift Shop -- Banksy doing what Banksy does, in a new medium
6 - Toy Story 3. I cried three times, at least. And it is Quentin Tarentino's number one pick. Who would have thought it.
7 - Date Night

I'm having trouble coming up with three more that I loved. I can't think that clearly.

The worst? The first scene in Burlesque. The absolute worst acting and worst writing. Luckily, it was less bad for the rest of the movie.
