this photostream. he does use edited versions of the pictures, but its pretty amazing stuff.
(there's also a nice 'battle' idea there, that might be fun to try on the sift -> "You have 24 hours to build a cover with these. (the random bandname, title and image) After the 24 hours the round ends and one of the competitioners is the winner. The winner gives the new cover, title and name for the next round")

Totally. Use bayimg.com. That's what I've been using. (It's from thepiratebay.)
