Back to Work
I haven't been as present around the Sift these last couple of weeks - I've gone back to work for at least the next six months. 
It's depressing and bleak after 7 months of working on projects from home, but it had to be done.
I'll be around in the Australian evenings while most of you are embedded in your beds - but my overall time will be curtailed.
The nice thing is that the Sift seems to function exactly the same without my presence. I know, totally shocking - being a cyber-solipsist I thought for sure the site would disappear unless I was here pressing the reload button on recent comments every 30 seconds.

antSo what happens if SiftBot goes on a rampage? Server puked? Can you fix it remotely?

Well, Lucky's and my day overlap - so there's usually someone around. I do check a little bit from work as well.
blankfistSiftBot is an unabashed child when the parents are away. He keeps adding the gay channel to all of my videos.
gorgonheapActually the sift did almost disappear into entropy. Thankfully due to a daring crew of elite sift members disaster was avoided and tragedy averted... In other words we kept the dark lord Zifnab from trashing the place, once he reaches 1000 videos he'll be nigh unstoppable.
Other then that not much else has been going on since you've been away.
KevlarSorry to hear that, Dag. I hope it is reassuring in some small way you've built a (virtually) perfect Sifting machine that will continue on even with a different work schedule... Unless SiftBot goes after someone's jugular, that is. In that case, please leave work and fend it off with the torn-off Youtube player bar.
