I've seen real reggaeton dances introduced by my friends from work ... Goddamn, coming from conservative Asian family with very stoic values, it was a very big shock.

It's basically mimicing sexual intercourse with your pants on, and swinging your hips to the rhythm.

My friend's girlfriend did something called 'the spider'? which involved her doing an upside down flip, get the guy against the wall and have their pelvic areas rub against each other.

...Yeah, culture shock.

So you like this kind of music Mr Eklek? First I have to say that Reggaeton music was very popular in my country, Puerto Rico, in the 80s it was very popular underground music scene. Then it got more popular outside Puerto Rico, all over the world in fact. I did not like this music myself, because it always had silly kind of 'war' between 'Goth' or 'Metal' scenes; 'Reggaeton' and 'Rappers' Scene there. I like other kinds of music styles but not this one, LOL! I guess because I grew up seeing people dancing like this - with the "boom boom" bass blaring out of their cars - They tend to hate and discriminate against 'different' people (goth/metal) like myself and others.
