Wikileaks Releases Secret US Embassy Diplomatic Cables

Starting on Sunday, Nov. 28th 2010 and continuing over the next few months Wikileaks will be releasing over 250,000 US Embassy cables, some of which are classified secret, to portray America's two-faced diplomatic actions. Is this good? Bad? Only time will tell.

This leak is over seven times larger than than the Iraq war logs.

Is transparency the future of the internet and information? I certainly would hope so!

I suspect this assklown's antics will endanger American lives and the lives of our allies, and for no good reason. If so, he should be permanently "retired" from respiration.

Governments need to be held accountable for everything they do. Light is the best disinfectant to corruption.

This 'assklown' is a damn hero.

I completely disagree in this instance. If what they leaked was say, medical experiments in Guatemala I would be all for it. But as diplomacy consists largely of trust and confidence this is just an unnecessary embarrassment. imho.

ps. my quote f'd up.

Yes, accountability is important, but so is national security. The hate-America crowd ignores 100 years of communist mass murder to besmirch some US diplomats' private messages? Laughable and dangerous.

Just goes to show you, don't call people names behind their backs that you wouldn't say to their face...common sense 101. Seems like we have some sly diplomats sending all sorts of "friendly" words about the people we hired them to be civil with. Our diplomats seem to be really just charlatans that don't know the basic rules of the game.
