^A distinct possibility, I must concede, but hopefully you won't light the candle more than once, just to give it a used look. I've got nothing to hide myself, but you never know when something like this might come in handy.

That was a good idea. I wonder if you sawed off the bottom quarter-inch of the candle if you could drip some wax on it and reseal it to the upper part?
