How would you like to have your president living in the "Pink House". National embarrassment, if you ask me. Americans should THANK us for burning it down and forcing them to whitewash to cover the soot.

Snopes would seem to suggest it was white and called the White House long before the British burned it http://www.snopes.com/language/colors/whitehouse.asp
