Theatrical Ad for 80s video game "Dig Dug"

This is a surprisingly long (2:30) and high budget ad for such a simple game.

I actually played that game on the C64 back then. "Boulder Dash" was much better, though

I played it in the arcade many, many times. I think I've got the image of the game screen burned onto my retinas.

I played it a lot on my Apple //c. Boulder Dash rocked too.

I wonder how much Atari spent on this ad. I have never seen it before!

Classic... I love it how they added "Game Over" into the preview too. I hate those games because when you lose its all over. It's back to the start. It doesnt even seem worth it.
