"The View" Ladies Discuss Creationism in School...Weeeee

You know where this is goin.
westysays...

So we should respect all views ? regardless of how evident they are so if a student is 15 and still believes in Santa clause the teacher should respect that view and not tell them that it is wrong simply because there is no evidence to support Santa clause ?

a teacher can say what is what in terms of which views are the most evident they should also make it clear when they are saying there view, "my opinion is" "however these other people believe this" "i would argue they are wrong because of this and this" .

its so sad that it seems the default position of this discussion assumes that teachers "tell people what to think" not that they teach people to think for themselves.

if a student says i don't believe in gravity the teacher would say , "that's clearly wrong because we can test it and you can see how it works." here are the current best theires on gravity ....."none would argue that and thay should not argue with a teacher that says "its very clear that the judao christian god one that answers prayers dose not exist because there is no evidence to support it" "and here are some books and teachings on why it is not productive to believe in something that has no evidence supporting it"
