The Postal Service - Such Great Heights

this is a surprisingly accurate depiction of what working in a cleanroom is actually like yet somehow at the same time manages to make it look about a billion times cooler than it actually is....

might as well, the only glaring inconsistency with real cleanroom work is that they touch the chip wafers WITH THIER HANDS. you would never ever ever do that in a real chip fab because your gloves are always very dirty compared to the immaculate cleanliness of the wafer.

getting an upvote for a great song. however i am preferential to the original by Iron and Wine. what's up with remakes of songs just a year or two after they are originally released?

bigbikemansays...

aaronfr, that's a common misconception, but actually the song was written by Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello (The Postal Service); it's Iron and Wine that did the cover.

I love both versions, and I tend to really enjoy most covers where the artist(s) take a fresh look at a good piece of music.
