A funny bit on the Jay Leno Tonight Show where Steve Schrippa (popularly known for his role in the Sopranos) makes judgmental presumptions about the personal lives of passers-by on the street. He's rather accurate.

Me and my co-worker used to do something similar like in this clip. All kinds of personalities in the city, and their clothes speak louder than their actions when you're near FIT. So ya, FIT students probably have a very keen sense of visual judgementation.
