From the warped imagination of Mitchell Lichtenstein (son of legendary pop artist Roy Lichtenstein) comes "Teeth," a spoof of B-movie monster flicks, a satire of modern-day puritan ethics, and a tongue-in-cheek female-empowerment story. [review]

Background: The vagina dentata appears in the myths of several cultures, most notably in several North American Indian tribes....The myth expresses the threat sexual intercourse poses for men who, although entering triumphantly, always leave diminished. - The vagina dentata has proven a captivating image for many artists and writers, particularly among surrealist or psychoanalytic works. wikipedia

It poses the question that begs to be answered by all men's subconscious minds, "Is it safe to stick it in there?" I mean, how many other tight, dark, concealed places do they put their penises into usually?

But this isn't a real trailer, surely?

One night after watching a 2hr documentary about Freud and psychosexual imagery like HR Geiger, including oedipus complexes and vaginas with teeth, I had what is without doubt the most fucked up nightmare anyone anywhere has ever had. I'm sure talking about it would get me banned, and rightly so.

I hope to live long enough to recover from said nightmare and rebuild a normal sex life, so I totally wont be watching this movie., there are some concepts one is better off never hearing.

Ok, this might be an anti climactic story after my earlier comment, but be warned this is sick (at least I think so, oh god do i think so).

So, the nightmare was very colorful, vivid and kind of feverish like when you are too hot in bed. It relied heavily on oedipal imagery, vaginas with teeth and worst of all, my grinning mom, hitching up her skirt to reveal a set of big teeth, kind of normal mouth type teeth, right where you dont normally expect to find em, and they are mindlessly chattering and clack-clack-clacking.

Very strange feeling when your mind does about the nastiest thing to you that has ever happened. I cant think of anything that ever happened to me awake that disturbed me like that dream. So I kind of understand how traumatised people need to shower, but cant seem to get clean.

Despite being shocked awake by it at that point, it disturbed me profoundly. It must have been weeks before I could talk to my mother again. Even writing this now creeps me out no end. That was maybe 10 years ago and I carefully avoid anything to do with Freud to this day.

Apologies if you find this as disturbing as I did. On the bright side, at least your healthy if you do find it disturbing. Thats what I clung to!

Thank you, moondonia. That was great! I can understand that it freaked you out, but it's a great piece of imagery, don't you think? I can see it now. Would make a great surrealist painting. (goes and sets up paint and canvas)
