TAKING LIBERTIES is a shocking but hilarious polemic documentary that charts the destruction of all your Basic Liberties under 10 Years of New Labour. Released to coincide with Tony Blair's departure, the film and the book follow the stories of normal people who's lives have been turned upside down by injustice - from being arrested for holding a placard outside parliament to being tortured in Guantanamo Bay.

It's so strange to see these things because we in the US seem to forget that other parts of the world are experiencing similar changes currently as well. I'm forced to ask, where will it stop? Isn't there a country that has developed a method for dealing with terrorist threats and needs for intelligence without compromising the security and privacy/privileges of its citizens?

It has Mark Thomas in it, bound to have a good light side.
Such scenes as Mark wandering around outside a "Rebuilding Iraq" business meeting, where businesses collected together to pretty much buy contracts in iraq and Mark with a cake shaped in iraq asking delegates if they "Wanted a piece of iraq"
