lavollsays...why not. we have progressed far enough, it is time to take a few steps back.
enochsays...this makes me incredibly angry.
it is one thing to CHOOSE to ignore scientific data and understanding and quite another to manipulate textbooks, meant for young students,to read according to specific religious narrative.
these kids didnt make the choice and they are the ones who will have to deal with forced misinformation.
Throbbinsays...If they can rewrite science textbooks, we can rewrite the bible.
"On the 4th day, God slept in, drank some coffee, read the Globe and Mail and the New York Times, walked his 2 dogs, watched some Oprah, then had a nap..."
GoodAttorneysays...This is why we home school; and still, the popular media and to a large extent well-meaning but ignorant liberals demonize home schooling. Well, I guess I'll have to pay taxes to teach the rest of the children how to be idiots. Welcome to Texas, USA.
geo321says..."One third of Texans believe that dinosaurs and humans roamed the earth at the same time." Man, that's crazy.
