Star Wars:The Old Republic: Video Documentary #3-The Voices

"As revealed during E3, Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ will be a fully voiced massively multiplayer online roleplaying game. Watch our third Video Documentary where we explore how voice-over conversations deliver a deeper level of immersion and connection to the story and characters. Every playable character and every non-playable character in the game will be brought to life by voice actors - resulting in several thousand speaking roles and hundreds of thousands of recorded lines of dialogue!"

That guy doing the player character (not the Brit) is a horrible voice actor. I hope I can pick something other than 'Generic_Bad_Ass01' for my toon. He was in Brothers in Arms and Dawn of War II and just made me want to cut my ears off every time his character attempted to bad ass up a scene.

Otherwise though, very keen for this approach to storytelling in MMOs! Though, I hope this doesn't paint themselves in to a corner when it comes to expansion time and the actors are unavailable.

My hatred for the art style used with the characters grows the more I see of the game. And I have to say I'm a bit disappointed at the conventional GUI shown off in the video.

Still, I expect it to be one of the best games of the decade, and I can't wait to play the finished product.
