I knew a guy that sky-dived, who said the rule in most emergencies was "One, two, fuck you"; you have 2 tries to fix something on your main and then you cut away and pull your reserve.

I think one or two of the comments on the uncut version of this video mentioned that; the primary was about to put him into some sort of spin that would foul the second, so he cut loose.

I'm scared of flying as it is, jumping out of a plane is never gonna happen for me.
