Not for kids when they showed the exec smoking at the start, and not really aimed at them anyway.

It also taught us to not have an attention span of no more than a few minutes - then Much Music come in and finished the job.

The other thing I noticed is that, what was purely meant to be a learning tool, Sesame Street has become a monolith of marketing mayhem. Today, it's just a money maker, less about teaching and more about marketing it's wears to children.
