I was watching a vid where a person is shushed as bad things happen to other people they care about.

Shhhush.. its
ok, shusshh,
its ok
as they
take liberties away.

According to Yahoo Answers the german says:

"Gib' auf, du hast keine Chance! Lass' es uns beenden! Es ist einfacher für dich, viel einfacher. Du wirst sehen, es ist gleich vorbei."

"Give up, you don't stand a chance! Let's end this here! It will be easier for you, much easier. You'll see it will be over quickly."

This video is not an opinion on the duality of war, but a testament to the mentality that goes along with hate, and animosity.

I watched this movie once, I could never watch it again.
The reality portrayed in this movie is far too strong for anyone who has never seen war, and I suspect far to real for those ever having witnessed war.

I recommend people to see it once so you know what war is and then never see it again so you never desensitize yourself to the horrors of war!

The opening beach scene remains imprinted on my brain forever!

The VA actually set up a counseling hotline after this movie came out to help vets that were affected by the realism portrayed in the movie.

It is hard for most people to watch this movie, but imagine if you had served in WWII.

After ten years, the sound mix on this movie is still unsurpassed in my opinion. There is no music during any of the action scenes. Instead the sound mix becomes hyper detailed and positional. Most immersive sound mix ever created.

Too bad it immerses you into horrible carnage and destruction. When I watched this movie for the second time, on video in 2000, I found myself weeping silently by the end, and that time I had shitty sound.
