eric3579says...Why would you assume the independent voters would vote for one particular candidate over the other? If they don't vote, the same person wins. If they split the vote the same person wins. You may have to get a large majority of the independent vote to change the outcome. Seems weird you would blame independent voters after your candidate can't hold the day. The loosing candidate might want to look in the mirror when they look for someone to blame for their loss.
