Racism, Fascism and Football in Continental Europe

This video highlights some of the appalling racism and fascism which exists in continental European football (thankfully these days it is very rare in the British game). Black and Muslim players are often subjected to disgusting racial abuse - sometimes from fans of their own team! The coach of the Spanish national team racially abused Thierry Henry but escaped with a small fine! Furthermore, black players in the English national team have been racially abused, and subject to monkey chants, while playing away games in Europe.

Racism is still prevalent in continental European football and not enough steps are being taken to wipe it out.

It's a good thing, but country like Germany is taking steps a bit too far to make sure to be 'politically correct', and I mean going all the way. They've just now started voting a bill in congress to ban all violent games. And I mean ALL.

Irionic how they're practicing strong facist governance while they're consciously trying to get rid of their past.

Anyways, the US has taken dramatic steps to clear out its name during the cold war, and I'd say it's been a success except for few parts still left. They did so because of political reasons. In Europe, there wasn't much political reasons to change whatever policies they had. Well now with World cup and world media attention and all, they needed to make changes quickly.

All political I tells you!!! AHAHAHA!!!
