Better than putting your aging parents in retirement homes and forgetting about them like they do here in America.

Agreed, although a state mandate to alleviate a fundamentally moral-humanitarian problem speaks poorly of a culture known for centuries for an elevated view of their elders who now, only in this last 100 years are adopting the excesses and lifestyles of the occidental.

Laws dictating morality are bound to fail miserably-Like treating a sucking chest wound with a band-aid.
