MilkmanDansays......And that is a big part of why I'd never want to drive a motorcycle. Do everything right, get plowed into by some retard. At least when that happens in a car, I've got a seatbelt, airbags, and metal cage around me to mitigate the damage.
antsays...It was a good thing there were many witnesses during that lucky accident.
MilkmanDan: I can't even handle a tricycle since it broke on me as a callow ant. It is a good thing I don't drive due to my disabilities.
rancorsays...That's why I don't recommend it to anyone who isn't paranoid about traffic. Even in my car, I check for red-light runners before going through any intersection (from a stop, anyway). I once heard a story about some lady getting ticketed in such a collision, when she was the one with the green light. Maybe the story is untrue, but everyone is responsible for safe traversal of an intersection. Just because you "had the right of way" doesn't mean you couldn't have prevented a collision with a little extra care.
