Bravo is a slightly oblique reference to the content. If you just hover over the tag it states what it should be used for.

Besides channels on Videosift simply aren't based on things like an exhortation. That's a playlist right there.

@albrite30

Channel names are not a direct description/definition of what the videosift channel is used for. It takes time but you get to remember what goes where. Justifying putting something in a channel based on its dictionary definition doesnt fly. You see so many people idiotically putting things in kids just because it has a kid in the video, but that channel is not for that, its for videos that relate to a child, something children would be interested in.

Now, have I told you about the new TPS report system ?

Now although I have been excoriated for my "improper use" of channel assignments. I will draw your attention to the fallacy of your arguments. Just because someone has defined a particular word as a channel marker does not take that word's definition out of circulation in the broader language. When I saw this particular video for the first time my internal shout was "Bravo" and that was not an incorrect usage of the term. To restrict the broader meaning of a word to some stringent and arbitrary definition made by another sift member is just ridiculous. If I were to put something into the bravo channel that was absolutely not related to the definition in the channel requirements or in the English language definition, than you would have proper cause to be appalled. I stand by my initial comment and channel assignment even if you say "it just doesn't fly". You are always welcome to correct my assignments if you so choose, but I will continue to post them as I see fit according to the broader (and correct) definition of any particular word. Thank You
