I absolutely love this song - Manu Chao is a genius!

Before Manu Chao went solo he was in the band Mano Negra who recorded an earlier version of King of the Bongo - the earlier version's not as good but the video is class:

I first heard this album (Clandestino) whilst having my luxurious locks shorn in a hairdressers in Cambridge. Usually you hear some awful FM radio station. I bought it soon after and it's a great album.
