LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock You Out (1991)

Before this song was released, many people believed that LL Cool J's career was on a wane. He was encouraged by his grandmother to "knock out the critics". He did, and this track still blows up clubs weekly.

This is from one of the best rap albums. Other good tracks include Around The Way Girl, Six Minutes of Pleasure, Chill (Eat em up L), Boomin' System, and Jingling Baby.
