I've watched that related video and it's just bunk imo. When I used to leave my cat she was very lonely and would look for me.

I was gone for years and she stopped sleeping in my room. The FIRST night I went back to my parents house she came back downstairs and slept with me.

I was _never_ the provider of resources my mom always fed her even when I was home. But she always came to me.

I was either a parent, a brother, or a friend. But whichever I was I was so very happy to have her in my life. I miss her every day

Yeah the related video is B.S. Everyone who has cat companions knows that it's not very likely that you're going to remove the cat from its home and see it in it's comfortable look. This clip made me happy because it's evidence of otherwise in comparison to the related clip. It also makes me feel like crap because I know our cats do this when we leave the house.

This video doesn't prove the cats are attached to their owners, it just proves they don't like being alone.
