Awesome speedrun. What always gets me is that I don't understand about 90% of the tricks he does.

Well, he's definitely mastered strafe-jumping.

And pretty ballsy with the whole "get myself down to 1 health and beat the boss" thing.

I recall playing this game through quickly...but killing most everything, and it took me like 5 hours.

Of course, my claim to fame was completing Super Mario World in less than 12 minutes.

Of course again...that record was quickly beaten...I think the current record is 10:30. But my video was cooler. It had awesome music.

Awesome game, on seeing them again i remember nearly every level. I also remember about a billion reloads after dying. Rather than speed run i always liked to poke around and look at everything they put in the game. As for the 1 hp left at the start of the boss fight, that looked a little fishy, like maybe some _nodie flag got set.

How in the world is he running so fast and jumping so far? I'm calling cheat.
