Dude is on a mission!

when you're sick or infirm, having the independence to do "little things" like taking care of oneself or crossing the street on one's own, becomes significant and isn't easily taken for granted (like many able-bodied folks tend to do).

The interesting thing here is not that he went to McDonald's. It's the motorized, patient-steerable gurney.
