Gorillas...98.6% Human (22:10)

A mini-documentary about several mountain gorilla families in Rwanda, in which we get to see their gentle nature and similarities to us, their great ape cousins. Magnificent creatures.

Excellent sift. Anyone else as moved as I was should head over to http://www.awf.org/content/action/detail/4109 where you can help save the gorillas.

Not meaning to take away anything from the video, but I believe mice are somewhere around 95-99% human, as far as DNA they have in common with us. I understand why people would be more concerned about gorillas than mice, and am not saying that's wrong or anything; it's just interesting.

How about Human...98.6% Gorilla

We are 97% with certain rats and mice. My guess is the closer you are to politics, the higher this rate is. Also, 50% with a banana..GIGGITY!
