as much as it is visually awesome movie, holy crap is that story incomprehensible. you have to re-watch it like 5 times to understand everything that's going on there..

Strange, I got it the first time. But, also the fact that most of the movie did not have The Major in it kind of left it feeling flat.

I think the music is epic, as are the opening songs to the Stand alone complex series. I think the stand alone complex series are better than the movies.

I think konno has many other better tracks..I wouldn't label this chorus track as epic. I am with you on the series though. The GiTS tv series is some of the best science fiction action out there. It makes me sad that there dosn't seem to be a 3rd season or any new movies in production atm.
