volumptuoussays...Also, "Taking Photos In Public Places Is Not A Crime: Analysis"

Kerotansays...That is really horrible, but after seeing the numbers of people at the rally, NOM clearly have something to hide.
longdesays...I like the video, but I disagree. If that group did get a permit to use the space, they have a right to exclude people from the space they were allotted. I guess it comes down to what permit they obtained.
I can get a permit to use portions of the public park for private events. I then have the right to exclude people from those events in the area I have rented.

I agree with what you're saying, but they possibly only had a permit for public speaking. That doesn't mean they can also police the area and kick out citizens for whatever reason they want.
And I'm not sure any judge would agree that videotaping someone is a form of protest.
FlowersInHisHairsays...That police offer has quite the badonkadonk.
Djevelsays...Mixed feelings on this one. On one hand, he shouldn't have been excluded from the park if the event was open to the public unless he was being disruptive. However, the video did show him being slightly disruptive by poking the camera in the dude's side conversations and following him around like paparazzi.
Had he set himself up a tripod and shot the thing out of the way of traffic (not that there was a lot), he should have been fine. And I could see some real outrage if he was tossed to the street corner in that regard.
