They might as well be saying, "This breaking news is absolute bullshit -- but it could be a problem if it wasn't just pulled out of our asses."

This kind of non-news here, as well as the link in the description (another absolute non-issue, poorly written), and its being reported again here, is the type of diversion created by paying attention to it at all.

Meh, I'd rather watch a plane potentially crash (because it's fun) than listen to anyone thank a bunch of politicians while people clap.

I'll make the obvious point that the reason why this is important is because it once again demonstrates Fox's agenda (they are not a news channel) and their determination to manipulate their audience. They will use any method to divert their viewers attention away from even the slightest perception of a success by the democratic party or the President.
