YouTube: A GoPro inside a fairing from a recent Falcon 9 flight captured some spectacular views as it fell back to Earth. Footage is played in real time.

The music's a nice touch

The only problem is that 2 minutes isn't enough fairing falling to earth video. I wanted more.

Moving this video to PlayhousePals's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 2 days.

When I watch videos like this, the first thing I think of (other than how beautiful the earth is) is how thin is the layer of air that all 7 billion of us live in and rely upon to sustain us. And how stupid it is for anybody to think that our activities couldn't possibly have any effect on it.
