articiansays...I thought the same, but I've heard way too much about companies interested in making use of this in some way. I think it will actually happen eventually. Don't they already have the airspace for it?
Either way, went looking for an operation I knew of along the same lines, but delivering tacos in San Francisco, and found this one: http://videosift.com/video/Burrito-Bombs
Though I suspect it's just viral for Yelp. Who knows.

Lethinsays...lol.
but really, any time it rains or is very windy, no delivery. which is when most people order. and cost of loosing one would be very painful compared to the food cost. so... gg dominos.
delivery by robots is far from today.

SevenFingerssays...But... this is what bugs me. You can't fly a gyrocopter around a city, or suburbs, mainly due to insurance reasons, and the fact you could crash and kill people. (this is what I have been told).
Wouldn't the same go for drones? they arent very high up, and if they fail and crash they could kill people(s).
Just my thoughts.
