Colbert: Jesus is a Liberal Democrat

Jesus was always flapping his gums about the poor, but not once did he call for tax cuts for the wealthiest two percent of Romans. 12/16/2010

I plan on memorizing the last line of this clip. Then when the topic comes up about social services for the poor and the unemployed, ask, "Do you believe we are a Christian nation?" If they answer yes, after going on about the lazy poor, I can then just quote Colbert.

A perfect rebuttal because it is perfectly true.

*How I Imaging QuantumMushrooms thought process.

"Am I really hypocritical because I am religious, but at the same time I don't want to help the poor because of my Republican Party Lines, and because I really don't give a fuck about them? Oh wait I don't have to think about the point being made here if i just blame someone else for earning a lot of money . Me so smart!"

Colbert's extremely wealthy. Has he given away all his wealth yet?

He has donated upwards of $100'000 to various charitiies.

How much have you given QM?

Colbert is right of course, in a round a bout way. If alive today (lets just assume he actually lived and isn't just the myth based on myths before him as we know he really is) he would be a complete 'bleeding-heart liberal'.
