Wait, what sandwich place makes you put your own mayo on the sandwich? I haven't been to one of the big chains a while, but last time I was, I remember them making 100% of the sandwich.

Jimmie Johns will. If you order a #2 with no vegs, they will say we can give you a #<whatever> and you can put the mayo on and it'll save you a buck. I generally tell them I'll be more than happy to pay a buck to have them do it with their mayo spreading experience.
