I dislike these kinds of shows, because they are about backstories and people. Emotional porn, I think is the term. Their skills are only secondary. I like the skill parts of the show and the ENORMOUS failures some people make.

Only bad part was how they tried to build up suspense in the end as if making it uncertain wether they´d take her or not.

BTW: I can highly recommend Ben Eltons "Chart Throb" which pretty much rips these type of shows apart. Cheesy novel in a way, but a fun read and trust me you will never look at talent shows in the same way again.
